JUlie M. Herrera
Julie was born and raised in South Texas and is one of ten children. She entered the car business in 1990 as a sales associate with Chevrolet and then Ford Motor Company.
In 1996, Julie joined the #1 Lincoln retailer in the country, North Park Lincoln Mercury, where she served in a variety of positions during her 14 year tenure. She started in Sales and was quickly promoted to Finance Manager and then Leasing Manager. While working full-time, Julie graduated Magna Cum Laude from The University of Incarnate Word, earning a BA in Psychology of Organizations. She was the Finance and Leasing Director for three years, then was promoted to New Car Sales Manager and finally, finished out her tenure at this dealership as Used Vehicle Director in charge of a 16 million dollar inventory.
With the opening of a new Toyota point in south San Antonio came a new opportunity for Julie in 2009. She was promoted to her new role of General Sales Manager and quickly established this new point as the area’s new car sales leader in Toyota volume in 2010 and 2011. After completing 16 years with the North Park Group, Julie left to pursue new learning opportunities in the automotive industry, specifically Fixed Operations.
In March 2012, Julie joined the Cavender Auto Family as the Service and Parts Director of Cavender Toyota. She had a total focus on customer retention and was responsible for innovations including establishing a full-service BDC, an Express Maintenance Shop, an Advanced Maintenance Shop, concierge vehicle delivery process, ASM tablet-based write-up process with electronic multi-point inspection, paperless transaction, complimentary quick-check alignment analysis, and a customer waiting room renovation. Under her leadership, Cavender Toyota reached the Top 10 in GST and was recognized as winner of the Customer First Advisory Board.
From May 2016 to September 2017, Julie was the General Manager of Cavender Audi of San Antonio. She led the Sales and Service teams to record market share performance levels.
In October of 2016, Gulf States Toyota named Julie Herrera Dealer Principal and Managing Partner of a new point, Toyota of Cedar Park. The dealership opened its doors May 2017 and is currently ranked #6 in the nation in New Car Volume.
Under her leadership, Toyota of Cedar Park has been the recipient of:

• Toyota/Lexus Minority Owners Dealer Association (TLMODA)
Julie participates in many worthwhile activities outside of work. She enjoys playing USTA league tennis, playing golf as a member of the Ladies Golf Association (LGA), and fishing on the Texas coast every chance she gets. She is also a member at St. Helen Catholic Church.
